“ This was fun quick meal while walking around Brickell at night. I had tagged this place ahead of our travels, after seeing Anthony Bourdain eat here (granted it was a different location -- inside of a gas station in a Doralzuela). The food is Venezuelan but is really Venezuelan comfort food you'd crave after a night at the bar(s) -- of which there are many nearby. Prices were higher than expected but the quality was there. My "special bbq mixta" (grilled steak and chicken) were delicious, approaching the same level of awesomeness as Pinolandia's carne asada. My wife loved her veggie dog covered in toothpick-sized potato chips and pink sauce. My daughter devoured her tacos and my son refused to eat anything... *sigh* I might even go back before we leave to try the burger that Bourdain ate, the Doralzuela... ”
“ I have really fallen in love with Venezuelan food. The garlic, pink sauce and potato sticks are spot on. I always enjoy an egg on my burger so I love that most of the options come with it already. The Doralzuela is a legit burger but it can get messy because it's so many ingredients and so big...I really enjoy the special BBq mixed...it's like a pepito without the bread. I usually ask for it with extra garlic and no ketchup or mustard. The special chicken burger was really good as well. You have to try their different sauces and pick your favorite. My top two are the garlic and the guasaca. They're open late, I went once at like 5 in the morning after a night out but I usually go during my lunch break since it's in Brickell. The restaurant is clean, there are a few birds that lurk outside if you choose that option but for the most part I definitely recommend Pepitos plaza to anyone looking for a good bite to eat whether it be a lunch meal or putting something on your stomach after the club. ”
“ Great food and service their papelon was amazing and their BBQ mixta was good 5 stars for sure and of course María the cashier and the one in charge is very professional and attentive. ”
“ Superb food, great vibes, and good people. Part of the weekly routine. And they're open late ”
“ Arepas were so good I came here twice! I was in Brickell for just 3 nights and had to find a Venezuelan arepa somewhere. I was so excited to find Pepito's near my hotel. The first day, I ordered the perico arepa (scrambled egg with tomato, peppers and onion) and the papalon con lemon (similar to lemonade). Both were so fresh and so good! I couldn't get my mind off arepas so I came back the next day. The owner definitely recognized us and welcome us back. I ordered 2 fried eggs with black beans and cheese, with an arepa on the side. Delicious! Also ordered an Americano. They don't have regular half and half so they gave me steamed milk. It did the trick and was great! The restaurant is quick service where you order at the counter and they call your name over the speaker. It looked and felt brand new and modern. Fill bar service is offered later in the day. The restrooom was locked and I think you needed to get a key from the counter. Very clean everywhere! ”
“ Me and my girlfriend were walking around Miami when we stumbled upon this place we got one of their tropical drinks and some garlic cilantro fries. Everything was very clean inside the food was very good. Service is very helpful. I suggesting things we might like great times in Miami hope to come back sometime. ”
“ Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. They have a little bit of every thing to satisfy that late night craving. Easy to order, then have a seat and wait for your name to be called to pick up your food. Food tasted just right, especially being late night. You can dine indoors or sit out side and the fresh air. If you don't have your card you can pay Apple, Google, or Samsung pay. Nice and simple. ”
“ Pepitos only has 3.5 stars?? Haters gonna hate I guess, but they're missing out. What Brickellite hasn't satiated their drunchies at this fine establishment once or twice? And drunchies or not, who can resist filling up on delicious tequeños at some of the most reasonable prices in the neighborhood? It's a simple order at the counter kinda place with a great selection of Venezuelan arepas, cachapas, empanadas, y más. It's greasy, it's pretty cheap, it's filling, and it's goood. Their tequeños are my fave, esp when dunked in the guava sauce. (I am currently being fought on whether this should read tartar sauce instead - try them both, trust me). Plenty of places to sit inside and out. So pull up a chair and enjoy. Everything nice is getting taken out of brickell for more high rises these days - I hope Pepito's is here 5ever. ”
